Our take

This kind of 'no-name' mic is what many people buy first, and the MAYBESTA is one of the most popular. Its big practical advantage is the dual receiver, which works with both Lightning iPhones and USB-C, plus a long connector that reaches even with a phone case on.

To be clear about what we don't know: the manufacturer doesn't publish range or battery figures, so those fields are blank in the specs. Don't expect DJI or RØDE quality either: the difference shows in noisy places.

For getting started, online classes or videos at home, it does the job. If you already post often, spending a bit more on the Mic Mini or the Lark M2 is worth it.
