Our take
The GL25B is Neewer's answer to the Elgato Key Light, for a lot less money. It's a 12.9-inch panel that clamps to the edge of your desk with an extendable pole and ball head, so it's easy to raise, lower and tilt.
Color accuracy is its strong point: CRI 98+, higher than the Litra Glow. It has the same temperature range as the Elgato (2900–7000 K), no fan (total silence on streams), and is controlled with the included remote or the desktop app through a USB receiver, no Wi-Fi needed.
It doesn't put out as much light as the Elgato (25 W vs 45 W), but for one person sitting a meter away it's more than enough.
Pros
- CRI 98+: very accurate colors
- Wireless remote included
- Silent, fanless design
- Much cheaper than the Elgato
Cons
- Less powerful than the Elgato
- Less-known brand than Elgato
